Mechanical Engineering Tech:
MNR Technology is a global design, manufacturing and supply chain management company, specializing in custom engineer products for a broad range of clients in the Consumer and Industrial products markets.
The position will be located in our Seacoast New Hampshire Head Quarters, and will support a US and European Customer base, as well as a domestic and international manufacturing base.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) business in a fast-paced product design/engineering and manufacturing delivery business HQd in Seacoast NH with manufacturing in China or Malaysia. The successful candidate will join a Global team (reporting into US/EU based management team) and will have the opportunity to work alongside the product design engineers and cross functional teams helping to deliver multiple NPI projects on budget to challenging technical requirements and timelines.
Title: Mechanical Engineering Tech:
- Converts customer document files to in-house document files for vendor quotations.
- Conducts part evaluation, including DFM, FAIR, PPAP, Statistical CP, CPK reports, measurement reports, etc. Prepares FAI reports for client submission.
- Manages test lab and equipment for visual and dimensional inspection, testing of incoming components and assemblies against existing documentation.
- Prepares 2-D designs and drawings using Solidworks and Autocad software.
- Maintains Project log, engineering status and task report. Assists with weekly project status meeting.
- Maintain and complete documentation ECO process in a timely manor.
- Maintain standards for technical drawings, internal specifications, and related engineering documentation
- Proficient with Solidworks 3-D CAD and 2-D documentation and Acad software.
- Familiar with Plastic design and Assemblies, Silicon Rubber design, Graphic overlay & Membrane switch, Flexible Etch Circuits, Cable Assemblies and Sheet Metal.
- Able to complete prototype in-house assembly and evaluation to identify problem areas and suggest corrective actions.
- Able to work independently and communicate professionally with clients.
- Written and verbal communication of complicated subjects is required.
- Willing to travel domestically & internationally
- Minimum 2 year technical college degree with 1-2 years of experience.
Education:
· An AS degree in an Engineering discipline, or 3 years CAD operator experience.
· Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Solidworks
· Solid analytical, verbal and written communication skills a must.
