Joyous Care, a growing healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced infividual to join the team as Supervisor. Do you love building a good team? The House Supervisor responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
- Provide direct care to youth and teens with high behavioral needs.
- Knowledge and understanding of childhood disorders including, but not limited to, ASD, FAS, PTSD, RAD.
- Knowledge and understanding of behavior support and implementing positive support plans
- Maintain a good working knowledge of every individual in the home
- Develop, review, and monitor implementation of service outcome plans
- Provide training and support to new staff
- Oversee staff: provide continued support, training, and documentation regarding performance and policies.
- Complete necessary paperwork, reports and assessments, review documentation and logging, provide follow up with staff
- Schedule and attend appointments for clients to ensure continuity of care
- Ensure all documentation is complete
- Participate in and facilitate various regular meetings, act as a coordinator with multiple service providers
- Maintain the schedule for the house and fill shifts as needed
- Work with the Designated Manager and/or Designated Coordinator on assisting with finances and developing program
- Regularly communicate with Nurse and DC/DM and work cooperatively with them on any assigned tasks
- Activity planning
- Behavior Interventions including Emergency Use of Manual Restraints,
- Organize, direct, and evaluate the operations of our home health care agency, including, but not limited to, overseeing, billing, staffing, recipient needs, and licensing requirements.
- Understand and maintain confidential information in accordance with current HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of licensing regulations.
- Assist staff with daily responsibilities as needed.

- Strong sense of person-centered services and how to use that in a team and serving clients
- Strong administration skills including reviewing documentation for completion, collecting data, completing documentation notes and medical notes and maintaining organization of books to remain compliant with licensing standards

- Maintain integrity in all services provided and communication across the organization and third-party service providers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must the following:
- Associates degree in related field and at least 1 year of full-time direct experience working in mental health/social services field OR
- OR at least 2 years’ full-time experience with 40 hours education and training in a professional setting working with youth preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 year of children’s mental health and Person-Centered Thinking experience preferred
- 1-2 years of Child Development or Youth experience
- 1-2 years of Experience in Positive Support Rule and 245D Licensing
- Individual must be mature, polite, competent, and possess team playing abilities, effective listening skills, and strong overall social and communication skills
- Department of Human Services background clearance
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally
- Must be at least 21 years old
HOURS and LOCATION:
- Brooklyn Park
- Shifts are variable and can include long hours depending on business needs
- M-F AM, PM, Midshifts. Variable
- Every other weekend (AMs and PMs)
- Must be flexible to cover open shifts when needed.
