Behind Every Exceptional Community Is a Team That Runs It Flawlessly
At Northwood Ravin, we’re known for creating some of the most distinctive luxury apartment communities in the Southeast. That same level of care and precision extends beyond what residents see, it’s embedded in how we operate every day.
We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who takes pride in owning financial reporting, maintaining accuracy across multiple entities and delivering clean, reliable results.
In this position, you will manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential communities, with direct responsibility for financial accuracy, month-end close, and timely reporting. Success in this role is defined by your ability to operate independently, identify issues early, and deliver consistent, high-quality financials.
Key areas of focus include:
Owning month-end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
Managing financial reporting across multiple entities, including operating statements, balance sheets, and cash flow
Monitoring cash balances, preparing wire transfers, and supporting distribution calculations
Overseeing AP activity, including invoice review, approvals, and audit support
Supporting development accounting, including draws, project tracking, and reporting
This is a role for someone who highly accountable, detail-driven, and comfortable managing complexity, someone who takes ownership of outcomes, meet deadlines and ensures the numbers are accurate.
What You Bring to the Team
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) and 3 to 5 years of experience managing full-cycle accounting, ideally within real estate or a multi-entity environment. You have a strong command of financial statements, month-end close, reconciliations, and cash management, and are comfortable owning reporting across multiple entities
You are highly proficient in Excel and able to work efficiently with large data sets, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues independently. Experience with property management or accounting systems (Yardi, OneSite, or similar) is strongly preferred.
More importantly, you bring a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach, communicate clearly, and take ownership of your work. You’re dependable, collaborative, and take pride in delivering high-quality results and representing the Northwood Ravin brand with pride.
We believe exceptional communities are built by exceptional people and we are intentional about supporting both.
Our team is supported through competitive compensation, personal development, housing opportunities within our communities, and an elevated benefits experience designed to promote well-being, financial stability, and life beyond work.
We offer retirement planning with company match, generous paid time off, and dedicated time to give back through volunteer initiatives.
Our commitment to you evolves over time, through expanded time off, enhanced retirement contributions, reduced benefit costs, and meaningful recognition at key milestones.
We’re collaborative, accountable, and committed to excellence in everything we do. There’s a shared pride in our work and a shared understanding that the details matter.
If you’re looking to be part of a team that operates with intention and high standards, we’d love to connect.
