*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, ensuring their optimal functionality and safety.
*Duties*
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake adjustments
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and hydraulic components
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Conduct brake repairs and alignments
- Assemble and disassemble machinery components
- Utilize power tools to complete repairs efficiently
*Experience*
- Prior experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in air brake systems
- Mechanical knowledge of diesel engines
- Ability to lift heavy equipment parts
- Experience with brake repairs and alignments
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus
- Certification as a Service Technician is advantageous
- Must provide your own tools

Pay: $30.21 - $32.30 per hour
