The Opportunity: A full-time Applications Chemist is sought to join our Applications Development Group. This group provides customer-directed support for the development of biosensor-based immunodiagnostic tests and assays using ABTECH's biosensor platform.
This Individual: You should have a minimum of a masters degree and five years recent experience or a Ph.D. degree and two years recent experience in the development, application, and commercial deployment of dip-stick assays, semi-quantitative and quantitative lateral flow bioassays, enzyme assays, ELISAs, DNA probes, etc. Suitable degrees may be in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Molecular Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, and Molecular Engineering (Biochemical Engineering).
Excellent written and oral communication skills are mandatory. Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary. The ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, to respond to exacting reporting and documentation requirements, and to interface well with corporate clients is required.
