Forklift Operator Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a local supply chain company who is seeking multiple Forklift Operators to join their team. The Forklift Operator will utilize multiple forklifts to load, unload, stock, organize, and prepare products for shipping. The ideal Forklift Operator has two or more years of experience using a variety of forklifts such as reach trucks, order pickers, clamp, electric pallet jacks, and sit down forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. The Forklift Operator position is a full time, temp to hire position in Memphis, TN.
Forklift Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Operate Forklifts & General Warehouse Equipment Safely to Move, Stack, & Organize Products
- Load & Unload Delivery Trucks With Equipment
- Inspect Forklift Equipment Prior to Each Shift & Report Issues
- Document All Inspections Accurately
- Maintain Inventory Records & Verify Shipping Invoices Compared to Product Received
- Prepare Products For Shipping by Picking, Packing, & Labeling Materials
- Communicate With All Departments, Team Members & Supervisors
- Maintain A Clean & Safe Work Area
- Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines
Forklift Operator Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma Or Equivalent Required
- 1+ Years of Forklift Operator Experience Using Multiple Types of Forklifts
- Must be Able to Use a Reach Truck, Order Picker, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack, & Sit Down Forklift
- Demonstrates Excellent Attention to Detail & Time Management Skills
- Exhibits Solid Math & Computer Skills
- Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills
- Exhibits a Strong Work Ethic & Attendance
- Move & Lift up to 50 lbs
