Join our dynamic team as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician and become a vital part of delivering reliable climate control and mechanical solutions to commercial clients. As a key player in our field service team, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and plumbing systems across diverse commercial properties. Your expertise will help keep buildings comfortable, safe, and operationally efficient while advancing your skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment (including ammonia refrigeration), and related mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Install new HVAC systems according to design specifications and schematics, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical or mechanical faults.
- Repair plumbing components associated with HVAC systems or refrigeration units, including pipe fittings and valves.
- Assist with welding or fabrication tasks necessary for equipment repair or installation projects.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician within the HVAC industry or related construction/mechanical fields.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and system troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Chillers and Boilers. Troubleshooting skills a must. 2+ years experience a plus.
- Familiarity with property maintenance tasks related to air conditioning, boilers, pumps, and general mechanical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude with skills in welding, equipment repair, and basic plumbing work.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles preferred.
- Knowledge of field service procedures including troubleshooting electrical issues using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
