Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Contract

Setting: Assisted Living Community
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays

- 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
- 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
AMX Healthcare is seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for a weekend contract opportunity at a highly regarded assisted living community in White Plains, New York.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse seeking consistent 12-hour weekend shifts in a supportive, resident-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with residents’ care plans and physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor residents’ health and promptly report changes in condition
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and emergencies
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, providers, and members of the care team
- Support caregivers and medication staff as needed
- Follow infection control, safety, confidentiality, and facility policies
- Promote residents’ dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life
Requirements
- Active New York LPN or RN license in good standing
- Current BLS or CPR certification
- Previous assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric experience preferred
- Strong medication administration and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to changes in resident condition
- Dependable weekend availability
- Must meet all background, health, and compliance requirements
Schedule
Two openings are available:
- Day Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Night Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
