Direct Care professionals needed for multiple shifts for a Residential group homes located in Ocean County, NJ. We are seeking qualified DCP's for full-time & part-time positions for shifts that include Fri/Sat/Sun 11pm-9am and Sat/Sun day shifts 9am-11pm, as well as additional opportunities to sub other shifts when available.
DCP's play an important role in the lives of our participants by engaging them in meaningful activities and interactions within the program and in a variety of community settings.
Responsibilities:
- Teach, monitor, engage, and assist in all activities including activities of daily living and social interactions
- Implement methods and techniques to assist participants in attaining service plan objectives
- Complete daily logs and written reports in electronic records system
Qualifications and Skills
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Home Health Aide certificate
- 18 years or older
- Valid NJ driver’s license with clean driving record with no moving violations, accidents or infractions and no history of suspensions.
- Holders of a Probationary drivers license are not eligible.
- Computer skills
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
