IQ Resource Group is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Welder to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on role with opportunities to work across multiple areas of production, helping ensure high-quality finished products.
Location: Dodge Center, Minnesota
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 an hour depending on Weld Test!
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm with potential overtime on Fridays as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Welding
- Adjust welding current to proper weld size and penetration
- Assemble and weld various metal parts together
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions
- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a welder
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Commitment to safety and proper use of protective equipment
- Strong communication and reliability
