Role Overview:
As a Caregiver / HHA at Assisting Hands Home Care of Elgin, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, non-medical in-home support services to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to maintain the quality of life, dignity, and independence of our clients. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Help with meal preparation and nutritional assistance.

Provide medication reminders and observe clients for any health changes.

Carry out light housekeeping duties and assist with errands.

Foster companionship and build meaningful relationships with clients, making their days brighter.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Compassionate and patient approach to caregiving.

Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Experience in personal care or similar role preferred, but not required.

Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends.
Bonus If You:
- Have certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or equivalent.

Possess first-aid and CPR training.

Have experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexible scheduling across all days of the week.
Location:
This position is on-site only, serving the Elgin, Illinois area.
