Free standing emergency department in the Burleson area need consultant pharmacist. This is hospital operations type role requiring professionalism, work autonomy, and medication and compliance knowledge.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, provide excellent customer service to providers and nurses, and show ownership for the medication processes at the facility.
Required:
- 2 to 3 years of hospital pharmacist experience
- You must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Texas
- Live in Burleson area
- Potential to serve as Pharmacist-in-charge
Preferred:
- Flexibility in work schedule
- Experience with acute alcohol and drug withdrawal rehabilitation
The pharmacist would be responsible for TJC and TSBP regulatory compliance, retrospective chart review, controlled substance monitoring and documentation, and a resource for nursing and physicians.
