Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hotel systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to building infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to guest experience.
- Operate and maintain specialized tools such as precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics for accurate diagnostics.
- Conduct repairs involving welding (including <LOCATION> welding), hydraulics, and high voltage electrical systems with safety as a top priority.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance schedules, and asset records efficiently.
- Manage field service activities including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), scissor lifts, and industrial electrician tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to execute technical sales support when needed, providing expert advice on equipment or system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to low voltage, high voltage, HVAC/R systems, and industrial mechanics.
- Assist in emergency repairs or troubleshooting during off-hours or in urgent situations to uphold guest safety and comfort.
Skills
- Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a focus on maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics interpretation, and industrial mechanics.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting using ammeters and ohmmeters; experience with high voltage and low voltage systems essential.
- Skilled in HVAC/R systems operation and repair; familiarity with HVAC certifications preferred.
- Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely and effectively.
- Experience with welding techniques including <LOCATION> welding; capable of fabricating or repairing metal components as needed.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking; excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues.
- Effective communication skills in English; customer service orientation to assist guests or staff professionally.
- Background in military or industrial electrician experience is advantageous; strong mechanical knowledge combined with analysis skills enhances problem-solving capabilities.
