Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on construction sites
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to support electrical work
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations
- Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Help with framing carpentry tasks related to electrical infrastructure and conduit routing
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical components and ensure safety protocols are followed on-site
- Maintain organized records of work performed, materials used, and safety checks completed
Skills
- Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Knowledge of NEC standards and safety regulations for electrical work
- Experience working on construction sites or in construction environments
- Basic skills in frame carpentry related to electrical installations
- Excellent attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude toward learning
