Cashiers/Customer Service Representatives are responsible for accurately handling customer transactions through the point of sale system in compliance with all Tile Outlets of America policies and procedures. They greet and thank customers as they enter and leave the store, answer telephones and direct calls as necessary. They also handle other tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
This position involves significant customer interaction so you must have good people skills! Cashiers/Customer Service Representatives report to the General Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers.
Cashier/Customer Service Representative qualifications include:
- A command of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Computer/keyboard experience
-The ability to work independently and manage your time
- A friendly and polite personality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for treating the customer right
- Good organization and follow-up skills and attention to detail
- The ability to concentrate for extended periods of time
- A team player
- The ability to speak Spanish is a plus
