Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare professionals in various clinical tasks, including patient assessments and basic life support procedures.
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- Manage patient flow within the clinic, ensuring timely appointments and efficient use of resources.
- Support outpatient services by performing administrative tasks such as coding and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with nursing staff in the PICU or OR settings as needed, demonstrating adaptability in high-pressure environments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and examination rooms to comply with health regulations.
- Assist in the management of patients in hospital medicine settings, particularly within a Level II trauma center or internal medicine departments.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role is preferred.
- Familiarity with outpatient care processes, coding practices, and basic life support certification is advantageous.
- Experience working in a clinic environment or with hospital medicine teams will be considered a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are essential for success in this role.
