Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen actively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and service options.
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission services to enhance customer value.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, track progress, and ensure timely completion of services.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service writing records and update customer files with all relevant information.
- Promote automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and repair expertise to build trust and confidence with clients.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership experience or auto service management background is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repairs (including transmissions, diesel engines, air brakes), and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Experience with auto estimating software and service writing is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
- Mechanical knowledge across various systems such as shocks & struts, wheel alignments, suspension components, tire service, brake repair, oil changes, and auto body repair.
- Familiarity with automotive sales processes and automobile sales experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
