Associate Attorney (Plaintiff-Side Litigation) - 3 Years' Experience (South Carolina)
Position Summary
- Strom Law Firm seeks an Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join a team known for regional and national litigation, including civil rights matters, class actions, and mass torts, alongside a local practice that includes personal injury, Social Security disability, and criminal defense.
- The role is primarily civil litigation, with occasional criminal projects, and will include some appellate work.
- This position will be a traditional associate position and assigned to a senior attorney to provide support, but will allow for growth in the firm.

Responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, including complaints.
- Drafting and responding to discovery.
- Brief writing at the trial and appellate levels.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Participating in hearings and trials.
- Negotiating settlements.
Candidate Profile
- 2-3 years of relevant legal experience.
- A demonstrated skill set developed through prior work, coupled with a strong interest in learning additional skills across a diverse plaintiff-side docket.
- Willingness to meet with clients in-person, virtually, and by telephone.
- Strong legal writing and advocacy skills, with the ability to manage litigation tasks from early case development through resolution.
- Must possess an SC license and completed all requirements to appear in court.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
