The Coordinator for Alexandria LaunchLabs – Cambridge will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Alexandria LaunchLabs site and assist LaunchLabs member companies with administrative and coordination matters. The incumbent will be a hospitable and detail-oriented individual interested in providing superior support and developing creative ideas to best support our community. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Coordination and Administration
Act as main point of contact with Facilities and Asset Services on all site and operational matters
Coordinate services with in-suite vendors, such as janitorial, pest control, AV support, to coordinate service
Support the Alexandria LaunchLabs Site Head and the Laboratory Operations Executive Director with general site operations and administration, including but not limited to:
o Manage space and equipment resources and related IT/AV needs
o Oversee LaunchLabs member portal associated content and visitor, IT, and facilities requests
o Maintain and manage office-based vendor contracts
o Assist with invoices and annual budgeting
o Help manage the organization and stock of the office and pantry
o Assist with shipping and receiving of packages and mail
o Preparing communications to member community
On-Site Reception and Member Support
Serve as on-site reception lead, providing a welcoming, high-touch experience for members and visitors.
Manage guest registration and coordination with campus concierge staff
Process badge requests for members
Triage requests from LaunchLabs member companies
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for member companies and maintain required documentation.
Track and process member company changes and liaise with accounting, as needed
Program and Event Planning
Assist in coordinating and executing local programming events to foster a vibrant and collaborative Alexandria LaunchLabs community
Manage the LaunchLabs events calendar and identify opportunities to align with broader programming
Attend local ecosystem events and seminars, as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher required
At least 2 years’ experience working in a science-related and/or incubator/accelerator organization highly desired, preferably in a collaborative or shared working environment
Possess an interest in life science, operations, and entrepreneurship
Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment and to prioritize effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

The expected base hourly wage range for this position is $36.06 to $40.87 USD hourly, plus annual discretionary bonus. This hourly wage range is an estimate, and the actual hourly wage may vary based on the consideration of many factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the individual’s knowledge, experience, education, qualifications, skills, job location, and the Company’s compensation practices.
