Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to enhance property aesthetics.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping and construction activities.
- Support the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Help with irrigation system setup, repairs, and seasonal adjustments to ensure proper watering.
- Perform snow plowing and snow removal during winter months to maintain safe access.
- Contribute to tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting with guidance from experienced team members.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition through routine cleaning and minor repairs.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment like excavators are preferred.
- Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and outdoor work environments.
- Valid driver’s license is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to operate equipment under supervision is required.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
