Protect Iowa State Fair Authority property and maintain the security of State Fair buildings throughout the year.
1. Patrol the grounds looking for unusual incidents, unsecured doors, windows or gates, or any other problem needing attention.
2. Document status of findings and report to appropriate staff as necessary.
Investigate complaints, accidents, incidents, and/or violations of rules and regulations.
1. Initiate preliminary investigation by securing evidence, and obtaining statements in a professional manner.
2. Prepare incident reports providing complete, accurate information in a timely manner.
3. When applicable, report findings to other departments to resolve issue.
4. Facilitate and interact with local law enforcement agencies for assistance as needed.
