Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Present menus and explain daily specials to customers
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Enter orders into the POS system such as Aloha POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience
- Prepare itemized checks and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and assist with kitchen sanitation
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional hospitality
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.60 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
