About this Role:
The Medical Consultant II (S) will lead a team of highly-skilled clinical, policy, and administrative professionals to facilitate DHCS' ability to consult on, develop and implement clinical quality and health equity monitoring policies and procedures across all of our managed care delivery systems and other select programs, including in our quality enforcement programs. The MC II (S) will identify best practices for clinical quality and health equity monitoring and policy, including defining and optimizing the Department's quality enforcement strategy. The MC II (S) will develop, implement and lead quality enforcement strategies including leveraging public posting of data for the Medi-Cal program to improve transparency and accountability.

This position is subject to the Department’s Conflict of Interest Code and filing a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) when assuming office, annually while in office, and upon leaving office.
