Duties
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, sanding, and auto painting to restore vehicles to their original condition
- Utilize MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques to fix structural damage and replace damaged panels
- Operate hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying equipment efficiently and safely during repairs
Experience
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role with dealership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including sheet metal fabrication, welding repair, sanding, auto painting, and detailing
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service skills for effective communication with clients
- Experience working with power tools, hand tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying systems
