American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience at a high-volume delivery center and an active Iowa RN license.

High-risk Labor & Delivery unit at a large, high-volume delivery center (200–300 deliveries/month)
-
High-acuity patient population with complex obstetric cases
-
Floating to Postpartum is required approximately 1–2 shifts per week
-
Floating may also be required within the same discipline across local campuses
-
Epic (STORK module) used for charting; experience preferred
-
Active Iowa RN license required; if not active, proof of application for an Iowa single-state or compact RN license must be provided during compliance

Active IL RN license required at time of consideration

Certifications required: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, and NRP
-
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required, with experience within the past year at a larger high-volume delivery center

High-risk and high-acuity L&D experience required

Circulating experience required
-
Scrub experience preferred

Epic STORK experience preferred

Multiple completed travel contracts preferred

Valid driver's license required

Candidates must have a taxable home address more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

A supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years is preferred

Travelers who were employed by the facility within the 12 months prior to consideration may be subject to refusal

Holiday coverage is required: travelers must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)

Time-off requests during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday windows are limited to 1 day per window
