Responsibilities
- Follow lesson plans and maintain classroom continuity.
- Create a structured, positive learning environment.
- Take attendance and leave helpful notes for the returning teacher.
- Work professionally with school staff to support student learning.
What You Need to Qualify as a Substitute Teacher
- Education: At least 60 college credit hours from an accredited college or university (minimum 2.0 GPA).
- Experience: No prior teaching experience required. We welcome dependable, professional individuals who are passionate about supporting student success.
- Requirements: Successful completion of required background checks, including LiveScan fingerprinting.

Physical Requirements
Substitute teachers must be able to perform the physical demands of the position, including but not limited to standing for extended periods, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, and occasionally lifting classroom materials. The school environment may include elevated noise levels.
