Solar Asset Manager
Location: New York (Hybrid)
Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 + bonus + excellent benefits
We're working with a growing owner and operator of commercial and community solar assets that is looking to add a Solar Asset Manager to its operations team.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of operational assets, working closely with engineering, operations and external stakeholders to maximise system performance and ensure projects operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the performance of operational solar assets.
- Investigate underperformance and coordinate corrective actions.
- Work with O&M providers to schedule preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Produce monthly production and performance reports.
- Track operational budgets and expenses.
- Maintain financial and operational reporting models.
- Coordinate with engineering and development teams.
- Manage relationships with key project stakeholders including utilities, contractors and landowners.
- Ensure operational compliance across the portfolio.
Requirements
- 1-5 years' experience within the solar or renewable energy sector.
- Experience supporting operational solar assets.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Engineering degree or technical background preferred.
- Experience with monitoring platforms such as SolarEdge, AlsoEnergy, PowerTrack, SCADA or similar is advantageous.
- Must be authorised to work in the United States without sponsorship.
