Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Company Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver and embark on an exciting journey across the country! Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across long-distance routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
- Drive a variety of trailers including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, roll-off truck, and other specialized equipment as required
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit
- Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules while complying with hours-of-service regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate records of driving logs, delivery documentation, and incident reports in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmission
- Proven delivery driver experience handling freight in various trailer types including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, or roll-off trucks
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures such as load & unload operations and securing cargo for transit
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts safely when required for loading or unloading freight
- Familiarity with route planning and driving regulations for over-the-road trucking across multiple states
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and customer service
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy loads, climbing in/out of trucks, and performing inspections

Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,500.00 per week
