Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations and ensure accurate, efficient medication processing. This role works under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and plays a critical part in maintaining workflow, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

Delivery prescriptions to patients' homes.

Receive and process prescription orders, including data entry and verification

Measure, count, label, and package medications in accordance with established procedures

Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates

Handle prescription insurance claims and resolve billing issues as needed

Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA

Provide customer service by answering basic medication and pharmacy-related inquiries

Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to clarify prescriptions when necessary

Support medication reconciliation and documentation processes

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED

Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician License

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Basic computer and data entry skills
Preferred Qualifications:

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)

Prior pharmacy or healthcare experience preferably in retail.
