Dackor is a manufacturer and distributor of decorative surface materials serving the cabinet, furniture, RV, retail fixture, and architectural markets. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to manage purchasing activities, inventory control, and supplier coordination.
Position Summary
The Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring materials are available to support production while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role manages purchase orders, monitors inventory, coordinates with suppliers, and maintains accurate data within the ERP/accounting system.
Primary Responsibilities
Purchasing
- Create and issue purchase orders for films, adhesives, packaging, and other production materials
- Monitor inventory levels and determine replenishment needs
- Maintain supplier relationships and communicate regarding orders, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Track open purchase orders and expedite deliveries as needed
- Assist with supplier quotations and pricing comparisons
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system
- Investigate discrepancies and support cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Coordinate inventory reconciliations
- Analyze usage trends and recommend appropriate stocking levels
Administrative & Reporting
- Ensure accurate entry of purchase orders, receipts, and inventory transactions
- Generate inventory and purchasing reports as needed
- Support inventory planning and material forecasting
- Maintain organized purchasing and inventory documentation
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, or materials coordination in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong proficiency with ERP or accounting systems (Zoho experience a plus, training available)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or materials management
- Experience with inventory planning, forecasting, and supplier coordination
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
