Compensation & Schedule
- 48/48 Schedule: $29.00/hour ($1,508 gross weekly pay)
- 36/48 Flex Schedule: $28.00/hour ($1,032 average gross weekly pay)
- 36/36 Schedule: $27.00/hour ($972 gross weekly pay)
- 12-hour shifts
- Day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts available based on facility needs
Position Overview
SpectrumACS, a division of American Correctional Solutions, is hiring experienced Certified Nursing Assistants for a local contract assignment at a state inpatient psychiatric facility in Pueblo, Colorado. This facility provides care for adult forensic and civil inpatient behavioral health populations in a secure, team-based hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Minimum one year of inpatient psychiatric CNA experience within the last five years.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Observe, monitor, and report changes in patient behavior and condition
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Assist nursing staff with therapeutic interventions
- Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Participate in MANDT crisis management and restraint training
Requirements
- Active Colorado CNA certification (or ability to obtain Colorado certification before start)
- Minimum one year of CNA experience in an inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health setting within the last five years
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Experience working in secure, forensic, or inpatient psychiatric settings preferred
- Ability to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as assigned
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
