Responsibilities
- Serve as part of the school leadership team, contributing ideas and assistance to assist the school as a whole
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focused on behavioral health, mental health counseling, and social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and external specialists to create tailored support strategies for students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and school policies related to student welfare, child protective services, and legal requirements.
- Facilitate conflict management sessions to promote positive behavior management and resolution skills among students.
- Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions, behavioral incidents, and intervention outcomes while respecting confidentiality standards.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development, adolescent development, behavioral health, and social work principles.
- Familiarity with special education needs and educational compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in conflict management, behavior management strategies, and classroom experience.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion while providing counseling or child welfare support as needed.
- Knowledge of school legal frameworks, standardized testing procedures, child childcare practices, and school policy adherence.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
