DESCRIPTION:
The Residential Hall Director–Stephens Hall is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the residence hall and promoting a safe, welcoming, and respectful living environment for students. The Residential Hall Director resides in the residence hall and serves as a primary point of contact for residents. This position provides guidance and support to students, enforces college policies and procedures, responds to concerns and emergencies, and works closely with campus departments to address residential student needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to reside in Stephens Hall and fulfill the evening, overnight, and emergency-response responsibilities of the position.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, employees, and members of the public.
- Ability to establish appropriate boundaries while maintaining positive and supportive relationships with residential students.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
