Administrative Assistant
Accounting & Auditing Firm is seeking a motivated individual with a strong administrative background with an interest in accounting to join our team. Firm offers all staff a flexible working environment with the ability to work remotely from home about 90% of the time with some instances where the staff work together for training and comradery. Firm specializes in performing audits or reviews for local non-profits, country clubs, homeowner’s associations, and other various businesses. Firm prepares the tax returns for many of their audit and review clients but unlike many firms, there is no tax practice for individual tax or small business tax preparation.
The available administrative assistant position requires a high school education at a minimum, higher education is preferred. A candidate who is extremely self-disciplined and has excellent people skills is best suited for this position. There is abundant interaction with clients and other staff so it is important that this candidate is able to adapt to many different personalities encountered.
The position has growth potential to assist on further accounting-related tasks which could lead to a full-time position.
Pay range: $21 - $24 per hour
Hours: Minimum of 20 hours per week
We need this position to have consistent availability during working hours but we are flexible as to the specific schedule of when the hours are worked. This will be discussed further with the partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform fundamental daily administrative tasks to assist the partners and team
- Strong MS Word and Excel skills required
- Self-discipline to work efficiently while being remote
- Strong organizational skills along with phone and email skills are required
- Assist on various tasks as needed
- Perform detailed and accurate data entry
- Maintaining paperless workflow of projects
Position Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
- Must be knowledgeable in Adobe
- Experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Attention to detail and problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage time and priorities independently
