Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Middletown, CT. This entry-level position plays an important role in supporting daily office operations, coordinating customer job requests, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring timely billing and invoicing.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, comfortable communicating by phone and email, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position also provides administrative support to other office staff to help ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
- Monitor and respond to company emails
- Prepare and process customer invoices
- Follow up on outstanding and overdue invoices
- Assist with scheduling and confirming customer jobs
- Welcome and assist office visitors and guests
- Make bank deposits as needed
- Run occasional business-related errands
- Provide administrative support to office staff
- Assist with general office tasks and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional phone etiquette
- Basic computer proficiency

- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
