About the Opportunity
High Tech Health is seeking a technically skilled Customer Support Electronics Technician to lead our customer support efforts as we continue to grow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting electronics, solving challenging technical problems, and helping customers get the maximum benefit from innovative products.
You will serve as the primary technical contact for our customers, diagnosing issues, guiding installations, and providing exceptional support by phone and email. You'll also work closely with our electrical engineering team to identify product improvements, solve field issues, and help shape future product development.

Primary Responsibilities
As our Customer Support Electronics Technician, you will:
- Provide five-star technical support by phone and email.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, electronic, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and networking-related product issues.
- Assist customers with installation, setup, firmware updates, Bluetooth pairing, mobile app configuration, and network connectivity.
- Maintain detailed and accurate service records, documenting customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Test returned products and replacement components to verify reported issues when needed.
- Communicate recurring product issues and customer feedback to the engineering team.
- Develop and maintain customer support documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
- Help improve customer support processes and contribute to outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Become a technical expert on High Tech Health products.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed in a collaborative, growing company.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Associate degree (A.S.) or higher in Electronics Technology or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of electronics troubleshooting or electronics technician experience preferred.
- Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Bluetooth technology, wireless device pairing, and mobile device connectivity.
- Working knowledge of home networking, including Wi-Fi routers, IP addressing, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical customers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team.
- Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Home Office Requirements
This position currently requires a professional home office capable of supporting remote customer service operations. Candidates should have:
- A dedicated, quiet workspace with reliable high-speed internet.
- Adequate space to securely store replacement parts, inventory, and shipping supplies.
- The ability to receive, organize, and ship customer replacement components as needed.
High Tech Health provides all company equipment necessary to perform the job, including a company computer, VoIP phone system, and desk phone. Employees are responsible for maintaining a reliable internet connection, electrical service, and an appropriate workspace for company equipment and inventory.
Work Location
This position is currently hybrid, with most customer support performed from a dedicated home office and periodic meetings and collaboration at our Longmont, Colorado office.
As business needs evolve, this role may transition to more regular in-office work. Candidates should be comfortable with this possibility.
