REM Central LLC is seeking a full-time Commercial Carpenter & Maintenance Technician to join our Remodel & Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for performing commercial carpentry, general maintenance, repairs, and remodeling work at our Dunkin' restaurants and retail plaza properties throughout MA, NH, VT, and ME.
Compensation: From $25 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, minimum 10 hours per day, weekends and possible overnights as needed (will be communicated in advance)
Work Location: Haverhill, MA and company locations throughout MA, NH, VT, and ME.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial carpentry, repairs, and general building maintenance.
- Complete preventive and corrective maintenance at company-owned Dunkin' restaurants and retail plaza properties.
- Assist with interior and exterior remodeling and construction projects.
- Perform tasks including framing, drywall, finish carpentry, ceiling repairs, painting, door and hardware installation, and general repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Work independently on maintenance service calls.
- Collaborate with the remodel team on larger construction projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial carpentry and/or building maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and building repairs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, dependable, and sel-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Job contingent upon passing a background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
