Becker Orthopedic, part of a group of four companies based in Troy, Michigan, is seeking a sharp, motivated Accounts Payable Clerk for an entry-level position. This is a training role — the right candidate will learn every aspect of the job from the ground up.
You’ll start with data entry, then progress to setting up and vetting vendors, establishing credit terms, and managing, scheduling, and processing payments to both domestic and international suppliers. Along the way you’ll learn to handle a range of payment types, from physical checks to ACH transactions and international wire transfers.
This role offers real room to grow. Our hope is that the right person will cross-train on other accounting functions — Accounts Receivable, purchasing, receiving, inventory management, payroll, and HR — creating significant potential for professional advancement, including a path toward management.
