OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Director serves as both internal and external focused support at the facility level for two affiliated facilities, providing coordinated community-based business development and relationship management to drive census development, strengthen community integration, and enhance customer service across both locations.
Responsible for creating and implementing an overall marketing strategy and building relationships in the communities while increasing patient census and fostering partnerships with physicians, clinics, hospitals, community centers, Assisted Living Facilities, and other Home Health, Hospice, and Home Care companies. Assists in protecting and enhancing facilities’ reputations within the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with acute-care hospitals, health systems, Discharge planners, case managers, rehab centers, physicians, and assisted living facilities
· Promotes exceptional customer service and positive customer experience throughout the admission and transition process.
· Educate/Inform referral sources of facilities’ Clinical services, Therapies services.
· In collaboration with Administrator and Admissions, create and implement external marketing strategies focused on both primary and secondary referral sources
· Develop marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, ads, campaigns, etc.
· Develop and support digital marketing initiatives including social media engagement, community storytelling, online reputation awareness, and promotion of facility programs, events, and services.
· Conduct facility tours with referral sources, community outreach partners, families and prospective residents.
· Works closely with Admissions, Nursing and Business Office
· Participate and plan community events and activities that promote company goals and initiatives
· Knowledgeable and understanding of payment systems (Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, commercial insurance, PDPM,)
· Educate and mediate with referral sources the admission process, signing in and explaining admission policies to patients and their families
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Social Services, or Public Relations Preferred
· 3-5 years of marketing, public relations, or communications experience in skilled nursing or health care setting preferred
· Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships at an individual, professional, and community level
TRAVEL:
· Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected
