Clover is a family-focused destination that combines a café, indoor playground, parties, events, and community experiences. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our team, improve systems, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Position Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation of Clover, including café operations, guest experience, staffing, scheduling, event coordination, safety compliance, team development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve SOPs• Oversee café, front desk, playground, and event operations• Directly supervise two Assistant Managers and provide leadership for a team of approximately 20 employees across café operations, front desk, playground monitoring, party hosting, and customer service functions• Ensure Assistant Managers effectively oversee their departments, maintain accountability, enforce company standards, and support employee development• Hire, train, coach, and develop staff• Create and manage employee schedules• Utilize Excel, Word, scheduling software, and AI tools such as ChatGPT• Resolve customer concerns professionally• Ensure health department compliance and food safety standards• Oversee party and event operations
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant, café, hospitality, entertainment venue, or operations management experience• Experience managing multiple departments and teams totaling 20+ employees, including supervisory or management-level staff• Strong leadership, delegation, and conflict resolution skills• Experience creating SOPs and operational systems• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications
- Family entertainment center or hospitality management experience• Event and party operations experience• Food Manager Certification• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
