C1 is hiring a Registered Dietitian I for a contract assignment with one of our healthcare clients in Tarboro, NC. This is an ongoing contract role with contract-to-hire potential for the right candidate. This is not am entry level position and requires a Graduate degree and ASCEND accredited dietetics coursework.
Pay: $32.00/hour, with overtime paid at $44.80/hour.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00a - 4:30p, 40 hours per week. Assignment runs September 7, 2026 through December 7, 2026. On-call rotation every other weekend is required.
What you will do:
- Deliver patient nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process: assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation
- Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to patients
- Serve as a nutrition resource for patients, peers, and foodservice staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and departments to support safe, high-quality care
- Maintain professional practices that align with regulatory, facility, and company standards
What we are looking for:
- Registered Dietitian credential in good standing
- Comfort working in a clinical, patient-facing environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Availability for every-other-weekend on-call coverage
