About the Role
Amada Senior Care of Woodstock, GA, serving clients throughout North Georgia, is seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) on a per diem basis to perform face-to-face initial and ongoing nurse assessments in accordance with state licensure requirements and for Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) assessments.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive in-home client assessments
- Collect client demographics, physician information, and medication lists
- Evaluate ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and IADLs (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living)
- Assist in developing and updating individualized care plans
- Perform periodic quality assurance visits
- Support and help train caregivers to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Act as an advocate for clients and families, ensuring appropriate care and services
Qualifications
- Active, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- Experience conducting nursing assessments and developing care plans
- Knowledge of non-medical home care regulations and compliance standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support caregivers
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
- Experience with Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) assessments is a plus
