Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a dynamic and service-driven Lead Server who is passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences for our residents and their guests. In this role, you will provide hands-on leadership across our dining outlets, setting the tone for hospitality, professionalism, and teamwork. You will lead by example—arriving prepared, polished, and ready to deliver enthusiastic, prompt, and personalized service that reflects our commitment to excellence.
As the service expert and team trainer, you will guide and support team members throughout each shift, ensuring adherence to the department’s Steps of Service and all timing standards. You will think quickly, communicate clearly, and confidently manage multiple priorities while overseeing side work, opening and closing duties, and overall service flow. In the absence of a manager, you will step into a leadership role to resolve service or food-related concerns, ensure proper handling of equipment and supplies, and maintain accurate completion of reports, voids, and promotional approvals. Your strong menu knowledge and ability to describe ingredients and preparation methods will position you as a trusted resource for both residents and staff.
Beyond daily service execution, you will foster a positive team culture by coaching, training, and mentoring team members to perform at their best. This role is ideal for a confident, hardworking leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering memorable dining experiences while uplifting and developing the team around them.
- Two years server experience required
- One year leadership and or training experience preferred
- Posses a positive attitude, empathy for guests, timeliness, desire to learn, attention to detail and routine, ability to work independently and ability to lead a team
- Food handler’s card required prior to service
- High school education required
- Requires strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills to relate with residents and lead co-workers
- When training is complete must have high understanding of Point of Service terminal functions and all explained job duties
- Basic reading and writing skills
