Purchasing Coordinator
Cedar Lake Metal Solutions – Maple Lake, MN
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Compensation: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour, depending on experience
Cedar Lake Metal Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting production by ensuring materials, supplies, and services are purchased and delivered on time.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system
- Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers regarding delivery dates
- Expedite late orders and communicate potential delays to internal teams
- Maintain supplier and part information within the ERP system
- Assist with inventory replenishment and purchasing activities
- Work closely with production, planning, receiving, and customer service teams
- Resolve purchasing, receiving, and invoicing discrepancies
- Support supplier communication regarding pricing, availability, and lead times
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Perform other administrative and purchasing-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in purchasing, customer service, inventory control, scheduling, manufacturing administration, or a related role preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
