Location: Miami-Dade County, FL Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Hourly Rate: $18/Hour
Temporary Schedule is Monday-Sunday (8am-1pm & 6pm-8pm)
The patient recently had surgery and requires this schedule for a month.
What You’ll Do:
As a Home Health Aide at Home Healthy, you’ll provide hands-on personal care and support to clients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe transfers, ensuring client comfort and dignity.
- Health Monitoring: Measure vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure), monitor fluid intake/output, and report changes in client condition to the registered nurse.
- Daily Living Support: Help with light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and other household tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Medication Assistance: Support clients with self-administered medications (if permitted), including preparing items like water or cups, opening containers, and ensuring proper timing, all under strict guidelines.
- Mobility and Exercise: Assist with ambulation, transfers, and prescribed range-of-motion exercises to promote client independence.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of care activities and report observations to the nursing team.
