Leading Southern Maine property management company is in search of an experienced property maintenance technician. If you have light plumbing, sheetrock or general handy-man experience, we'd like to talk to you. This position requires a professional working relationship with tenants, the public and staff. This person will be a productive team player. A positive attitude and strong work ethics are a must.
Requirements:
- Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must possess strong mechanical ability as well as general knowledge of maintenance functions including light plumbing, carpentry and unit turnover work.
- Must have ability to work independently, without supervision, following written and oral directives.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must constantly adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Must be able to work off of a ladder.
- Must participate in the on-call rotation.
The individual who meets these requirements will be eligible to receive a sign on bonus of up to $1000.00 upon completion of their first 90 days .
Job description:
- Perform routine building repairs and grounds maintenance to include, but not limited to, plumbing fixtures, carpentry repairs, drywall, painting and other various activities as directed.
- Properly complete renovations and repairs, in a timely manner, on vacant apartments to ensure that they are in move-in ready condition.
- Keep property grounds and buildings clean and well groomed at all times, including snow removal.
- Consistently communicate with supervisor and maintenance team members to ensure that company standards are met.
- Perform other related tasks as required or assigned.
- Be on-call on a rotating basis.

Salary: $22.00 to $28.00 /hour to start. Rate negotiable DOE
