We are a sports performance and physical therapy clinic with a strong focus on youth athletes, gymnasts, and cheerleaders. Our mission is to help athletes recover from injuries, reduce injury risk, and maximize performance both in and out of competition.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Tech who is passionate about working with athletes. This role is perfect for someone pursuing a career in physical therapy, athletic training, or exercise science and looking to gain hands-on experience in a sports-focused setting. You’ll assist our licensed therapists in delivering high-quality care and supporting athletes through every stage of their recovery and performance journey.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists with exercise programs, stretching, and functional training tailored to athletes
- Set up, clean, and organize treatment and performance areas for patient sessions
- Demonstrate proper form for strength, mobility, and return-to-sport drills
- Provide encouragement and motivation to athletes during rehab and training
- Support staff with scheduling, chart prep, and set up of modalities.
Qualifications
- Degree in exercise science, kinesiology, athletic training, or sports medicine preferred but not required.
- Strength and conditioning coach a plus
- Personal experience in sports, coaching, or fitness training strongly valued
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with youth athletes
- Energetic, dependable, and team-oriented with a passion for sports
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, athlete-centered environment
