Seeking a Lead Special Education Teacher with a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and general administrative, principal, or director of special education endorsement for our year-round therapeutic program for Fall 2026. This role can act as a bridge for teachers seeking to transition into formal administration.
This position would involve leading in a classroom, as well as supporting the planning, coordination, and supervision of special education services to ensure high-quality support for students. Class sizes are small and presenting issues of children include: ADHD, language delays, Autism, learning disorders, and other externalizing behavior disorders. Previous experience working with a therapeutic population is required.
Responsibilities Include
- Planning for and supporting supplemental learning for children
- Leading therapeutic classes
- Collaboration with other providers and academic teachers
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will be high energy, willing to collaborate, flexible to change, and have the ability to think on their feet.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably early childhood or special education
- Professional Educator License, and LBS1/ Special Education Licensure, general administrative, or principal, endorsement required
- Previous experience working with children with therapeutic or special needs
- Background in education administration with a focus on special education programs or services

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
