Position Summary
Warehouse Associates are an essential part of Left Bank’s operations and customer service success. This position is responsible for receiving, processing, storing, picking, and loading wine and spirits inventory for delivery throughout the market. Team members help ensure accurate order fulfillment, maintain warehouse organization, and uphold the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and product care.
Warehouse Associates work in a fast-paced environment and are expected to demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and strong problem-solving abilities while supporting daily warehouse and distribution operations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming wine and spirits inventory
- Verify shipment accuracy by counting and confirming inventory quantities
- Inspect products for damage, breakage, wear, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Pick and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Load delivery vehicles safely and securely for route distribution
- Mark, label, and organize stock in designated warehouse locations
- Store inventory in a clean, safe, and accessible manner
- Build and wrap pallets for shipment and delivery
- Operate forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at all times
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable safety regulations
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and general warehouse support duties
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and team members regarding inventory or operational issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or beverage distribution experience preferred
- Forklift and electronic pallet jack experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach throughout scheduled shifts
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery
The normal work week is 4 days Monday-Thursday. Start and ending times vary according to the available work load. Payroll is salary non-exempt. The position offers 4 weeks of vacation and 1 week of personal time pro-rated for the first year based on how much of the year is worked.
