About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to expand our customer base, strengthen existing relationships, and represent our full line of plumbing & heating services across the greater Boston area. You’ll be the face of our company—trusted, knowledgeable, and always ready to deliver value.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with plumbing & heating contractors, wholesalers, commercial, and residential clients
- Identify new business opportunities and drive territory growth
- Provide product expertise, recommendations, and on‑site support
- Prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and close sales
- Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless customer service
- Get potential customers excited about Prime Plumbing and encourage them to spread the word.
- Attend industry events, trainings, and vendor meetings
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales.
- General Plumbing Knowledge
- Financial acumen, including the ability to determine if a job is profitable and what operational activities affect positive or negative results.
- IT competent, previous experience with Microsoft Office, and the latest sales applications.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Familiar with local codes and can speak to company product lines.
- Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Highly motivated, flexible, and positive attitude.
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
